Let's Get Started!

These bath jellies are a fun DIY project for kids! They’re quick and simple to make. They suds up like soap, but jiggle like Jell-O.

A Few Notes

You can make these jellies with any kind of body wash you have on hand. We also make hand soap jellies with our favorite liquid hand soap.

I recommend using 2 envelopes of the gelatin for better bath jellies. We were making a few different batches today, so I opted for 1 envelope each. Using 2 envelopes gives you a more sturdy soap, that holds together longer.

We typically add color to our jellies for a little more fun. We chose not to in this batch because the kids enjoy trying to find them and grab hold of them in the bathtub. Ha! We use mica powder to color ours, but soap colorant or a little bit of food coloring would work too.

I use silicon molds for easy demolding. An old baking sheet underneath makes it easy to transfer molds to the fridge for set up.
